A nice budget hotel to stay in. Very convenient and located near the train station with a bus stop outside it. The beach is 20mins walk away and train was 5/6mins away from Edinburgh. The hotel staff were very friendly and had alot of recommendations of what to see in Edinburgh and had booklets on hand to show what to see. Were very informative. The girl at breakfast was lovely, polite and was very helpful. Breakfast was good for the price with so much to offer The hotel room was clean enough. I did have minor issues that i feel could be easily fixed. Keeping in mind it being a budget hotel…The bed sheets were washed u could tell but it was stained from previous so being mindful for this. Also the curtains in the room were an issue they dint close all way looked like the hooks on top had broke. So they dint overlap felt abit uneasy about this. The window sill had abit of mould on it which could be easily cleaned. I would also say more toileteries could be available in regards to toilet roll as many ppl dont want their room serviced especially for a long stay individual. Also maybe extra towels could be put in wardrobe in future so if someone needs it they have it. In regards to that i would like to say the cleaning lady was lovely and she did provide me with more when i saw her on the landing. Also in bathroom feminine products being available would be a bonus. The heating in the room was very slow to heat up even when it was on max so felt abit cold at times. With small issues like this being fixed it would be a good good hotel to stay in. Nevertheless i would stay again at this hotel. Was very good for the price and its location was great for anyone coming in to visit Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

We stayed at the Best Western Hotel Kings Manor for over a week, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Our club room at the end of the corridor was quiet, with a lovely view of the lawn behind the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and had a huge, comfortable bed with blackout curtains that ensured restful nights. The hotel also offers great parking and has an on-site restaurant with good options. As vegans, my partner and I were very impressed by how accommodating the breakfast staff were, preparing us a vegan breakfast every morning. The housekeeping staff were also really wonderful when we needed help. We enjoyed using the leisure club facilities, including the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and gym. It did get a bit busy in the evenings, but overall, it was a great addition to our stay. A special mention goes to the reception staff, especially Jonathan. He provided exceptional customer service, always warm, welcoming, and happy to help us. He took a genuine interest in ensuring we had a great experience and made us feel valued and at ease. This made a huge difference in our stay at the hotel - thank you! Overall, the hotel’s eco-conscious efforts, excellent staff, and comfortable amenities made for a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

The staff at BWKings Manor were exceptional. Very helpful, friendly and polite , a definite asset to the hotel. The room was bigger than I expected from the website and I appreciated the amount of space and storage. Having a slip mat for the shower was a thoughtful extra in the bathroom. With breakfast being included I was certainly not expecting such a wide range of choices, both hot and cold and catering to all tastes. A most excellent start to a heavy day's sight seeing ! Travel into Edinburgh city was easy , with there being bus stops right outside the hotel taking us into Princes Street and a short walk to a different stop for the University area. The breakfast supervisor especially was most helpful with directions, bus numbers etc. It was a short drive to the waterfront in Portobello for an evening stroll.

Had an excellent stay at this establishment! First time staying at a best western and I could not if been more blown away by the service! Fantastic and will be definitely booking shortly again but with a larger group. There was a certain member of staff j cannot in any words describe how helpfull and accommodating she was. LOUISE assisted in a way that was professional and genuine. Staff who have people skills and shownmanners are hard to come by as myself and my family work within day to day with service users/customers. Manner cost nothing at the work ethic Lousie displayed was outstanding and from the heart. Thankyou best western see yous again soon hopfully Gemma anderson .room 375. .

We loved this hotel for many reasons. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast had plenty of choice. We had a meal in the bistro that was absolutely spot on. The Cullen Skink was delicious, and the fish and chip supper was a super size portion. Service here, too, was very attentive. The facilities are very good, with complimentary access to the pool and wellness centre. We parked up for the duration of our stay, and used the busses to get into the city centre. £2 single per adult and less than 20 mins each way. Bus stops are right outside the hotel, too. This is definitely a place we will return to.
