Best Western Kings Manor

We stayed at the Best Western Hotel Kings Manor for over a week, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Our club room at the end of the corridor was quiet, with a lovely view of the lawn behind the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and had a huge, comfortable bed with blackout curtains that ensured restful nights. The hotel also offers great parking and has an on-site restaurant with good options. As vegans, my partner and I were very impressed by how accommodating the breakfast staff were, preparing us a vegan breakfast every morning. The housekeeping staff were also really wonderful when we needed help. We enjoyed using the leisure club facilities, including the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and gym. It did get a bit busy in the evenings, but overall, it was a great addition to our stay. A special mention goes to the reception staff, especially Jonathan. He provided exceptional customer service, always warm, welcoming, and happy to help us. He took a genuine interest in ensuring we had a great experience and made us feel valued and at ease. This made a huge difference in our stay at the hotel - thank you! Overall, the hotel’s eco-conscious efforts, excellent staff, and comfortable amenities made for a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect, short walk to the beach. There is a bus stop with buses frequently passing to take you in the city centre. You are also 5 minute walk away to the train station that takes you also into the city centre. We had a dog, and the fact there was a park just over the road was perfect. The hotel had plenty of dog friendly areas we could even take him down to breakfast. spacious bedroom with the most comfy bed. And very clean.

The rooms were pretty clean and spacious bed was comfy enough. The pool and spa were great. Staff were willing to help with any issues I had , for example the heating turns off at 9pm and it was cold, call down to reception and they sorted it for me. Another example I was having a bad moment with anxiety I went down stairs and the reception staff that was working night got me a jug of ice water which I needed. Staff are friendly and are willing to help with anything they can. I can say I will definitely be back when visiting. Another note is there is some beautiful walks in the area near the water front.

I was looking for a quite place for a long weekend where I could relax, sleep well and exercise. with the swimming pool, gym, Portobello beach nearby for long runs you can have it all. you have to take a bus to go to the city centre but it was not a problem for me for the amenities you get in the hotel. the room was spacious and comfortable. tea and cookies supplied every day by the room service were a nice addition. breakfast - well, it's British breakfast, I don't like it but that's what you get in the UK!

Large comfortable room with a super king size bed. Good provision for clothing with drawers and hanging space provided. A superb en suite, with good sized shower ; the ensuite looked as if recently refurbished. Breakfast daily was generally very good too.
